Demand for analytics has grown exponentially, but until now, it has been difficult to find the right provider with the right services. This has now changed: Forrester, one of the world’s most influential research companies, has published the first Vendor Landscape: Customer Analytics Service Providers, Q2 2017 report, which places the world’s most significant analytics companies on a single map according to the services they provide. The report includes some 50 companies, one of which is the Nordic provider Houston Analytics.
Drawing up the Customer Analytics Service Providers report has been very difficult because of the wide range of services offered in the field. The report places Houston Analytics in the same segment as the UK company Dunnhumby, a pioneer in retail analytics.
- “In retail, we are extremely competent but we also serve a broad range of other sectors. We have chosen the right position: our service selection includes easy-to-use solutions that help us to harness data to serve our customers' businesses within a couple of weeks or even sooner," says Antti Syväniemi, CEO of Houston Analytics.
- “Inclusion in Forrester’s report and the IBM Choice Award for High Performing New Business Partner, Europe, which we received at the beginning of the year, are sure to bring us great visibility, especially outside of our home market. Until now, we’ve mainly operated in the Nordic countries. Our newest market is the United Kingdom, which we’ve entered with Armstrong One, our artificial intelligence-enhanced marketing service. The doors are now open to all markets,” says Syväniemi.
The Vendor Landscape: Customer Analytics Service Providers, Q2 2017 report offers a comprehensive view of the companies in the analytics sector and their special competences, making it easier for other companies to find the provider that best meets their needs.
